Preliminary “Locaters"

   A good place to start would be by beginning to discuss the major features of the spiritual and theological landscape related to “before becoming a follower of Christ.”  What does that look like and how does one locate oneself and others in that topography? We need to do that to understand ourselves relative to coming to faith and to help others navigate their way through that terrain.  

    So let us encourage you to take the next step by drilling down into this section. First we offer some introductory thoughts and access to what others have said about locating where people are in their journeys:

    Don’t over-think this!  Using these as “GPS devices” is a step-beyond flying by the seat of your pants, but they are only fallible, rough and ready indicatorsOver use might contribute to your becoming too judgmental and influence you to put people too quickly into boxes--and most folks don’t like being put in boxes. With those warnings to use these resources judiciously and with discretion...we say enjoy!
