Academic Connections, International believes it is important for Christians, and Christian scholars in particular, to think hard about integrating their faith with the academic disciplines. We do so to encourage integrality of thought, faith and life. We also encourage fruitful dialogue about these matters (including theology and political theory) among ourselves and with others as a scholarly practice.
By internal rule, as an organization and its leadership (Board, Staff, Fellows and Associates) when they represent this ministry are not to endorse or promote political candidates, political parties or engage in lobbying legislative bodies.
However, our leadership and associates are entitled to support their own individual political view points and can make their privately held political positions public insofar as they do not represent their views as respresentative of the organization, and they are encouraged to make clear if and when they do so, they represent only their own private perspective.
